Laurentian Aerospace Corporation is developing a state-of-the-art maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility at the Plattsburgh International Airport in upstate New York.
The new maintenance facility will provide heavy maintenance for wide-body aircraft.
Plattsburgh International Airport, located approximately 60 miles south of Montreal, is located at the site of the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base. A new passenger terminal was opened in June 2007 and commercial passenger service commenced in November 2007.
The airport has an all-weather runway which is 11,750 feet long and 200 feet wide.
